The AI-driven Bing chatbot created by Microsoft is now accessible without any waiting list.

Microsoft has announced that its latest search engine, powered by OpenAI’s GPT-4 language model, is now available for preview to everyone. To access the new Bing, users can go to bing.com/new, log in with their Microsoft account, and use the GPT-4-powered search engine’s chat feature for free. However, users must have the latest version of Microsoft’s Edge browser to access the new Bing, which is available on Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices.

Although the new Bing is open to everyone, it is still in the preview phase and requires users to sign up to test it. By making it exclusive to Edge, Microsoft is promoting the use of its own browser, which recently attracted 100 million active users every day. Microsoft has confirmed that they will make the new Bing available on other browsers at a later date.

Microsoft will announce an upgraded Microsoft 365 suite, potentially powered by GPT-4, like the new Bing search engine, at “The Future of Work with AI” event. Many apps and services are integrating GPT-4 to enhance their functionality.
